Version 1 · Effective 16 October 2026
Subscription & Billing Policy
Effective Date: 01 October 2026 Version: 1.0 Product: ChequePilot Provider: DesignMUSTER Technologies Territory: Worldwide
1. Purpose
This Subscription & Billing Policy explains the rules governing ChequePilot subscription plans, billing cycles, renewals, payments, upgrades, downgrades, failed payments, taxes, pricing changes, and related billing matters.
This Policy forms part of the agreement between the customer and DesignMUSTER Technologies for use of ChequePilot.
2. Subscription Plans
ChequePilot may offer subscription plans including:
- Free
- Pro
- Advanced
- Other plans introduced in the future
Each plan may provide different features, usage limits, permissions, service levels, or access rights.
The current features, limits, prices, and billing intervals displayed within ChequePilot or on the official ChequePilot website at the time of purchase form part of the applicable subscription arrangement.
3. Free Plan
The Free plan may be available without a recurring subscription charge.
The Free plan may include limits relating to:
- Number of users
- Bank accounts
- Cheque templates
- Monthly cheque usage
- Printer profiles
- Batch Import
- Advanced features
- Administrative functionality
- Other plan-specific features
DesignMUSTER Technologies may modify Free-plan limits or functionality from time to time, subject to applicable law and any express commitments already made to users.
4. Paid Plans
Paid plans may include enhanced limits and functionality.
Examples may include:
- Increased user limits
- Additional bank accounts
- Additional cheque templates
- Higher cheque volume
- Additional printer profiles
- Batch Import
- Advanced administrative features
- Additional reporting
- Other paid functionality
The exact features available are determined by the active subscription plan.
5. Current Approved Pricing
ChequePilot may currently display plans such as:
Free: USD 0
Pro: USD 9.99 per month USD 99 per year
Advanced: USD 19.99 per month USD 199 per year
Where prices shown in the application, website, checkout page, invoice, or payment processor differ because of an authorized later pricing update, the price displayed at the time of purchase or renewal will apply.
6. Currency
Subscription prices may be displayed and charged in supported currencies.
Unless otherwise stated, the primary listed pricing may be displayed in United States Dollars (USD).
The final amount charged may be affected by:
- Customer location
- Supported payment currency
- Taxes
- Payment-provider rules
- Currency conversion
- Card-network exchange rates
- Bank charges
7. Monthly Billing
Where a customer selects a monthly subscription, the subscription is normally billed once per billing month.
The billing date may be based on the date the subscription begins or another billing date displayed during checkout.
The subscription continues until cancelled or otherwise terminated.
8. Annual Billing
Where a customer selects an annual subscription, the subscription is normally billed once per annual billing period.
Annual pricing may provide a lower effective monthly cost than monthly billing.
The full annual amount may be charged at the beginning of the annual billing period unless otherwise stated.
9. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions may automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
By purchasing an auto-renewing subscription, the customer authorizes the applicable payment method to be charged for future renewal amounts, subject to applicable law and payment-provider requirements.
10. Renewal Date
The renewal date may be shown in the ChequePilot billing or subscription interface.
Customers are responsible for reviewing their subscription status and cancelling before renewal if they do not wish to continue.
11. Cancellation Before Renewal
A customer may cancel an auto-renewing subscription before the next renewal date.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal.
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated, cancellation does not automatically provide a refund for a billing period that has already started or been paid.
12. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
Eligible first-time paid ChequePilot subscriptions are subject to the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy and its 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee.
The customer should review that Policy for eligibility requirements, deadlines, exclusions, and refund procedures.
13. Payment Processing
ChequePilot may use third-party payment processors such as Stripe.
Payment processors may handle:
- Card information
- Payment authorization
- Payment settlement
- Refunds
- Subscription billing
- Payment-method updates
- Fraud checks
- Transaction records
DesignMUSTER Technologies may receive limited payment and subscription information necessary to manage the customer account.
14. Payment Authorization
By submitting a payment method, the customer represents that:
- The customer is authorized to use the payment method
- The billing information is accurate
- The payment method may be charged for authorized subscription fees
- Automatic renewal charges may be processed where applicable
15. Payment Methods
Supported payment methods may vary by:
- Country
- Currency
- Payment processor

- Sending payment notifications
- Restricting paid functionality
- Applying a temporary grace period
- Downgrading the workspace

Any such action will remain subject to applicable law and any active contractual commitments.
17. Payment Retry
The payment processor may automatically retry a failed payment.
The number and timing of retry attempts may depend on payment-provider settings and applicable billing rules.
18. Grace Period
DesignMUSTER Technologies may provide a temporary grace period following a failed payment.
A grace period is not guaranteed unless expressly stated.
During a grace period, paid functionality may remain available or may be partially restricted.
19. Downgrade After Failed Payment
Where a paid subscription cannot be successfully renewed, the account may be downgraded to the Free plan or another available plan.
After downgrade, the account may become subject to lower limits.
Data exceeding the new plan limits will be handled according to ChequePilot's product rules and applicable law.
20. Feature Access After Downgrade
Following a downgrade, certain paid features may become unavailable.
This may include:
- Batch Import
- Additional users

- Additional templates
- Higher cheque limits
- Additional printer profiles
- Advanced functionality
DesignMUSTER Technologies may restrict creation of new items above the applicable plan limits while preserving existing information where reasonably possible.

Retention and deletion are governed by:
- Privacy Policy
- Product rules
- Data-retention requirements
- Applicable law
- Backup schedules
- Customer account status
22. Upgrades
Customers may upgrade to a higher plan where available.
An upgrade may take effect:

- Credit for unused paid time
- New billing date
- New billing interval
The payment treatment shown during upgrade confirmation will apply, subject to applicable law.
24. Downgrades
Customers may request or select a lower subscription plan where supported.
A downgrade may take effect:
- Immediately

Lower plan limits may affect:
- Team members
- Bank accounts
- Templates

26. Existing Data Above Lower Plan Limits
Where existing data exceeds a new lower plan limit, ChequePilot may:
- Preserve existing records
- Prevent creation of additional records

- Apply another reasonable limitation shown by the product
DesignMUSTER Technologies should not silently delete business-critical customer data merely because a plan was downgraded unless necessary, expressly disclosed, or legally permitted.

Where supported, subscription changes may be prorated.
Proration may depend on:
- Existing plan
- New plan
