Users retain ownership of the business data they enter, upload, import, or create through ChequePilot, subject to the rights required for DesignMUSTER Technologies to provide the Service.

Users are responsible for ensuring that they have lawful authority to process, upload, store, and use the data they place into ChequePilot.

Users must not upload personal or confidential information unless they are legally permitted to do so.

13. Security

DesignMUSTER Technologies uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect the Service and customer information.

However, no internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.

Security risks may include:

  • Hacking
  • Cyberattacks
  • Malware
  • Credential theft
  • Phishing
  • Unauthorized access
  • Hosting failures
  • Network failures
  • Third-party system failures
  • Software vulnerabilities
  • Force majeure events

Responsibility for any security incident will be determined according to the facts and applicable law.

ChequePilot may rely on third-party providers for services including:

  • Cloud hosting
  • Databases
  • Authentication
  • Payment processing
  • Email
  • Networking
  • Storage
  • Monitoring
  • Analytics
  • Security
  • Domain services

DesignMUSTER Technologies is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused solely by third-party systems outside its reasonable control.

15. Subscription Plans

ChequePilot may offer subscription plans including Free, Pro, Advanced, or other plans introduced in the future.

Each plan may include different:

  • Feature access
  • User limits
  • Bank limits
  • Template limits
  • Cheque limits
  • Printer profiles
  • Batch Import access
  • Support levels
  • Other usage allowances

The current plan features and pricing shown by ChequePilot at the time of purchase form part of the subscription.

16. Free Plan

The Free plan may include limited functionality and usage limits.

DesignMUSTER Technologies may update Free-plan features or limits from time to time, subject to applicable law and any commitments already made to users.

17. Paid Subscriptions

Paid plans may be offered on monthly, annual, or other billing intervals.

Users agree to pay the charges shown at checkout.

Applicable taxes may be added where required.

18. Automatic Renewal

Where automatic renewal is enabled, the subscription may renew automatically at the selected billing interval unless cancelled before the next renewal date.

Users are responsible for managing cancellation before renewal.

19. 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Eligible first-time paid subscriptions are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee.

The refund request must be submitted within seven calendar days from the date of the initial successful paid subscription transaction.

The guarantee is subject to:

  • Applicable law
  • Fraud prevention
  • Abuse controls
  • Payment-processor limitations
  • Recoverability of third-party charges
  • Taxes or fees that may not be refundable
  • Chargeback or payment-dispute status

Where approved, refunds are normally returned to the original payment method.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

20. Cancellation

Users may cancel an auto-renewing subscription before the next renewal date.

Cancellation normally prevents future renewal.

Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated, cancellation after the 7-day refund period does not automatically create a refund for an already completed billing period.

21. Failed Payments

If a payment fails, DesignMUSTER Technologies may:

  • Retry payment
  • Notify the user
  • Restrict paid features
  • Downgrade the account
  • Suspend paid services
  • Cancel the subscription

Any action will be subject to applicable law and the relevant subscription terms.

22. Plan Changes

Users may be able to upgrade or downgrade subscriptions.

A plan change may affect:

  • Feature access
  • Limits
  • Team members
  • Banks
  • Templates
  • Printer profiles
  • Batch Import
  • Reporting
  • Other plan-specific functionality

Billing treatment for upgrades or downgrades will follow the terms shown at the time of the change.

23. Pricing Changes

DesignMUSTER Technologies may change subscription prices from time to time.

Where required, reasonable notice will be provided before a new price applies to an existing renewing subscription.

24. Payment Processing

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe.

ChequePilot may receive transaction references, payment status, subscription details, and limited billing information.

Full payment-card information may be handled directly by the payment provider.

25. Intellectual Property

ChequePilot software, code, design, branding, documentation, interfaces, workflows, features, and proprietary technology belong to DesignMUSTER Technologies or its licensors.

Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable right to use ChequePilot according to these Terms.

Users may not:

  • Resell unauthorized copies
  • Remove intellectual-property notices
  • Misrepresent ownership
  • Use the platform to create a competing unauthorized clone

26. Feedback

Users may provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback.

Where legally permitted, DesignMUSTER Technologies may use such feedback to improve the Service without creating an obligation to compensate the user.

28. Maintenance

DesignMUSTER Technologies may perform planned or emergency maintenance.

Where practical, reasonable notice may be given for significant planned interruptions.

29. Backups

ChequePilot may maintain operational backups as part of its infrastructure.

However, users should maintain independent copies of important legal, financial, accounting, or business records.

The Service should not be treated as the sole archival system for legally critical data.

30. Suspension

DesignMUSTER Technologies may suspend access where reasonably necessary for:

  • Non-payment
  • Fraud
  • Abuse
  • Security risks
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Unlawful activity

  • Subscription obligations are not met
  • Continued service is legally prohibited

Users may also stop using the Service at any time, subject to subscription and billing obligations.

32. Printing & Cheque Use Disclaimer

Use of ChequePilot is also subject to the separate Printing & Cheque Use Disclaimer.

The user acknowledges that cheque printing, physical alignment, bank acceptance, printer setup, data accuracy, signatures, stamps, and final issuance remain subject to the responsibilities described in that document.
